Nassau M58 Air Temperature Guage Description:
The M58 Air Temperature Gauge is used extensively by Weather Bureaus worldwide, because of its reliability, and accuracy.
The M58 utilizes an ambient air flow external Temperature Sensor to improve accuracy. The sensor is equipped with a special IC (integrated circuit) which electronically compensates for cable length, and resistive changes in the conductor due to temperature. This ensures precise readings.
For ultimate accuracy, Nassau offers the optional Infrared Radiation Shield (A 41301) to house the external sensor. This shield prevents stray infra-red heat from buildings, direct sunlight, or ground, from biasing the temperature reading.
