For the Weems and Plath World Time Clock, a solid cast brass; hinged bezel case with a rich looking beveled edge crystal and mounted it to a contemporary solid wood base is used.
Since knowing the time in other parts of the world is more important in this day and age. Both instrument and base have been lacquered to an elegant luster. The hands show the time at your location in the center of the dial, while a unique rotating sub-dial shows the time at major cities throughout the world on the outside perimeter.
