Returns

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it within 10 days of receipt for a refund subject to these terms.

Please read carefully, and don't hesitate to contact us with questions!

The following products are excluded from refunds: 

(1) Any item that has been customized, personalized, or engraved.

(2) The following products are covered under manufacturer warranty, but may not be returned for refund:

  • Ocean Clocks products
  • Tidemaster UK watches
  • Accessory items (mounts, sensors, wiring, etc.)
  • Sale, Discounted, and/or volume orders of any size (at our discretion)
  • Government, Corporate, and Institutional orders (except individual gifts  at our discretion)

 

RETURNING YOUR ITEM:

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (ie; retail box or package).

Return Authorization is required for all returns.

1. Please contact us by email within 10 days of receiving your item for a return authorization. We will respond with your return authorization and instructions on your return.

2. Return shipping charge is customer's responsibility. Please properly package and insure your return item -we are not responsible for shipping loss or damage.

Upon receipt we will inspect your return and verify the condition of the item. Upon verification of acceptable condition, a refund will be issued. Refunds are issued by credit transaction back to the credit card used for purchase, or company draft at our discretion.

Please allow up to 30 days for shipping, inspection, and processing times.

 

RESTOCKING FEE:
Restocking fee of 25% plus original shipping charges in excess of those paid by the customer will be deducted from your refund. 

 

ORDER CANCELLATIONS:

Order cancellation made prior to payment processing or shipment will be handled without charge. If your order has been processed any return will be handled as stated under "Returning your item" in our policy.

 

RETURNED PAYMENTS:
Any payment returned to us non-paid for any reason are subject to a $75.00 fee. Customer notification will be sent by email of such occurrence.  

 

WARRANTY:

All items are warranted by the manufacturer. While we are always happy to assist if possible, Windward Instruments is in no way responsible for warranty terms, or relationship between customer and manufacturer.

To receive warranty service or claim, please follow the instructions provided with your item.
